Keto Crab Cakes

These Deliciously Crispy Keto Crab Cakes are Extra Easy to make in a Waffle Iron. Making Fish Cakes in a Waffle Maker helps get them Extra Crispy. That's why it's the preferred method! If you don't have a waffle maker... you can easily Bake or Fry the Crab Cakes instead.  Baked, Fried or Waffled... they're Always best served with a Creamy Lemon garlic Sauce which Compliments them Perfectly.

  • 2 Cans Crab Meat
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Tsp Garlic minced
  • 3 Tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 Tbsp Coconut Flour
  • 2 Tbsp Butter melted
  • 1/2 Tsp Onion Powder
  • for the Garlic Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 Tsp Garlic minced
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt


  • Drain the liquid off of the canned crab, then add the crab meat to a mixing bowl. Add the egg, minced garlic, mayonnaise, lemon juice, melted butter, coconut flour (or bread crumbs) and onion powder. Mix until very well combined.
  • Preheat your waffle iron, then lightly grease it. Divide the crab mixture into portions (4-8 depending on size of your waffle maker). Cook each of the crab waffles until golden brown. Serve with a side of Garlic Mayo Dip and a slice of Lemon.
  • To Make the Garlic Sauce: Mix the mayonnaise with the lemon juice, minced garlic and salt. Stir until smooth.
