How to Make Sesame Ginger Shrimp Cakes
To make these Sesame Ginger Shrimp Cakes, you start by using a food processor to grind up the fresh ginger, garlic, cilantro, chopped green onion and sesame oil. Then add the raw shrimp and blend until well combined. (you can use a knife and cutting board for this step if you don’t have a food processor.)
Next add the ground pork to the food processor and blend until the mixture is completely mixed through. Shape into 8 small patties and fry in a frying pan or skillet over medium heat for 4 – 5 minutes per side or until the patties are fully cooked through.
WHAT IS THE KETOGENIC DIET?
The ketogenic diet (often called keto) is a very low-carb, high-fat diet that shares similarities to paleo, Whole30, and Atkins. - Ground chicken or turkey can be used in place of the ground pork if preferred.
- If you don’t have a food processor you can use a knife and cutting board to chop up the ingredients.
- To make the Sesame Ginger Dipping Sauce use 2 Tbsp Sesame oil, 1 Tbsp Gluten Free Soya Sauce, 1 Tbsp Lime Juice, 1/2 Tsp Grated Fresh Ginger and a sprinkle of Sesame Seeds and Fresh Cilantro.
- 8 oz is = to 1 Cup
- Garnish with sesame seeds, chopped green onion and chopped cilantro
