Recipe Notes for making the Best Creamy Greek Whipped Feta Dip:

  • This dip can be made up to 3 days ahead of time and stored in a covered container in the refrigerator. It will stiffen up in the fridge to a spread-like consistency. I recommend keeping the greek salad topping in a separate bowl, until your ready to serve it.
  • Crumbled feta often contains extra ingredients to prevent caking, look for a block of feta cheese instead. It’ll give the dip a creamier texture and a richer, brinier flavour. It makes such a difference!
  • Use a piece of paper towel to remove any liquid that pools on side of the plate. If you drain off the liquid from the salad topping before adding it on top of the dip, there should be a very minimal amount around the rim.
  • I like serving this dip on a small plate instead of in a bowl because it helps distribute the topping throughout the whole dip better than if it was in a bowl. You can use a bowl instead of plate if you prefer.
  • I use a store bought garlic puree in a jar or tube. If you’d rather, you can use minced garlic but try to mince it as finely as possible. Garlic powder can be used instead of garlic puree as well.
